Theme: The Power of the Risen Christ – April Devotional
“I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death.” — Philippians 3:10
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a moment we celebrate—it is a power we are called to live in. Too many believers acknowledge the empty tomb but still walk as if they are bound. Still defeated. Still fearful. Still uncertain. But the same power that raised Christ from the dead was not meant to stay in history—it was meant to live in you.
As God’s Prepared Warriors, we understand readiness in the physical sense. We prepare our homes, our supplies, our plans. But there is a deeper level of preparedness that many overlook—the daily activation of resurrection power in our lives. Resurrection power changes how you think. It changes how you respond. It changes how you endure.
It means that fear no longer has authority over you. When the world is shaken, you are not shaken, because your foundation is not built on circumstances—it is built on a risen Savior. It means that when pressure comes, you don’t collapse—you stand. Not in your strength, but in His. It means that the old man—the one driven by doubt, anger, insecurity, and sin—has been crucified with Christ. You are not who you used to be. You are not bound to old habits, old thinking, or old fears. You have been raised into something new. This is where many warriors struggle. We prepare externally, but we neglect internal transformation. We stockpile supplies, but we don’t renew our minds. We train our bodies, but we don’t discipline our spirit. But resurrection power demands participation. You don’t just receive it—you walk in it.
That means, You choose faith when fear is louder. You choose obedience when it’s uncomfortable. You choose discipline when it would be easier to drift. Because resurrection power is not passive—it is active. And here’s the truth every warrior needs to understand:In the days ahead, it will not be your gear that sustains you—it will be your spiritual condition. When uncertainty rises, when pressure increases, when the world grows darker—you will either respond from fear… or from power. That power is already available to you. The question is: are you living in it?
Let's Pray
Father, thank You for the power of the risen Christ. Teach me not just to believe in it, but to live in it. Strengthen me to walk in faith, discipline, and obedience. Renew my mind, steady my heart, and prepare me—spirit, soul, and body—for whatever lies ahead. Let my life reflect Your power in every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
You are not preparing as one who is weak—you are preparing as one who has been raised with Christ.
Walk like it.
