As we begin this Thanksgiving week, God’s Prepared Warriors, today is an invitation to set the tone—not with stress, rushing, or busyness, but with a heart anchored in gratitude. The world may approach this week with pressure and distraction, but we begin it with praise. We start with remembering the goodness of God.
Thanksgiving isn’t just a day on the calendar; it is a daily discipline. It is the choice to slow down long enough to recognize the fingerprints of God all over our lives. Gratitude opens our eyes. It helps us see past the challenges and into the faithfulness of a God who has carried us through every battle and every season.
Psalm 136 reminds us that our thanksgiving is rooted in one truth: the Lord is good and His love endures forever. That means His goodness didn’t stop yesterday, and His love won’t run out tomorrow. His presence is with you today, strengthening you, guiding you, and providing everything you need for the journey ahead.
As you start this Monday, take a moment to reflect on something God has done for you this year—something only He could have orchestrated. Let that memory fuel your worship. Let that gratitude shape your attitude. Let thanksgiving rise in you like a shield against discouragement and a reminder that God is at work even when you can’t see it.
Warriors, this week we choose thankfulness. We choose to see His hand. We choose to honor Him with a grateful heart.

Father, thank You for the gift of another week and for the blessing of Your unfailing love. As we begin this Thanksgiving week, fill my heart with gratitude. Help me to see Your goodness in every part of my life and to walk through this day with a spirit of thanksgiving. Strengthen me to honor You with my thoughts, my words, and my actions. I give You thanks today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
