“But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law.” – Galatians 4:4
Timing is everything. As we reflect on the birth of Jesus, we see that God’s plan unfolded at the exact moment it was meant to. The world may have seemed chaotic, with oppressive rulers and a people longing for deliverance, but God knew the perfect time to send His Son. The waiting wasn’t wasted—it was part of His divine plan.
As God’s Prepared Warriors, we often find ourselves waiting too, waiting for answers, provision, or even the fulfillment of a promise. It’s easy to grow impatient or doubt His timing when life feels uncertain. But just as He orchestrated the events of Jesus’ birth with precision, God is orchestrating the details of your life with the same care.
The key is trust. When we trust God’s timing, we can embrace seasons of waiting with peace rather than anxiety. Preparation during these times is not just about stockpiling supplies or planning for emergencies; it’s about preparing our hearts. Use these moments to draw closer to Him, to grow in faith, and to trust that His timing is always perfect—even when we don’t see it.
Let's Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for showing us through the birth of Jesus that Your timing is perfect. Teach us to trust You, even when we’re waiting for answers or clarity. Help us to prepare not only our lives but also our hearts to align with Your will. Fill us with peace and patience, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises. As Your prepared warriors, guide us to live with readiness and unwavering trust in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
